We are seeking a highly skilled Tier 2 NOC Engineer with experience in supporting Fortinet hardware and software to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. This role requires a strong background in network engineering, experience with Fortinet solutions, and the ability to resolve escalated issues effectively.

24/7 Shift Pattern: 4-on, 4-off (2 Days: 07:00–19:00 | 2 Nights: 19:00–07:00 | 4 Days Off)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a NOC or network engineering role, preferably within the telecoms industry.
  • Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting Fortinet solutions in a production environment.

Essential skills/qualifications

  • Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) certifications, such as Network Security, Security Operations or; The older Fortinet NSE 5 equivalent qualifications.
  • Relevant networking certifications like CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in Fortinet hardware and software, including FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, FortiAP, and FortiSwitch.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, NAT, and IPSec/SSL VPNs.
  • Experience with SD-WAN configurations and deployments.
  • Proven ability to handle escalations and resolve issues.
  • Familiarity with telecom network architectures, including MPLS and broadband technologies.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or similar platforms.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder interactions.
