Our Public Sector team plays a vital role in delivering critical network services for organisations such as the NHS and Emergency Services, including supporting the transition of NHS sites to a new, dedicated health network.
Our Service Provider team are trusted delivery partners in Vodafone’s Radio Network Transformation Programme, helping to shape the future of mobile connectivity in the UK. At MLL, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
The purpose of this role is to lead the commercial performance of strategic public sector accounts, delivering exceptional service, strengthening existing customer relationships, and driving new business growth across the East Region. You will be comfortable travelling regularly to customer sites and to MLL’s head office in Marlow as part of a hybrid working model.
- Create, own and develop detailed strategic account plans in support of the company sales strategy and agreed business targets.
- Create, own and develop a stakeholder engagement plan to help create line of sight to the longer-term business strategy.
- Develop and identify a process that can be measured by client agreed KPIs for quotations, responses and implementation requests.
- Ensure all contracts are kept updated to reflect changes.
- Lead formal bid processes when required for new opportunities.
- Act as an expert advocate for MLL solutions, products and services that enables innovative solutions to be developed to meet customer needs, present and future.
- Work closely and co-operatively with internal teams including Solution Architects, Service Delivery Managers, Service Architects, Project Managers, Bid Managers, Desk Based Sales, commercial and financial teams to provide outstanding proposals and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Maintain accurate up-to-date records for all allocated clients and opportunities in the MLL Cherwell CRM system.
- Sound knowledge of account management processes and client engagement.
- Relationship manager with strong stakeholder skills, able to operate at all levels with resilience and adaptability.
- A high standard of excel skills and reporting capability.
- Team management skills, working with multiple stakeholders to achieve objectives.
- Coaching and mentoring employees in order to increase productivity and revenue.
