Job Description Job Title: Speech and Language Therapy Assistant Location: Shepherds Bush, London Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 Start Date: January 2025 or sooner MLK Search is supporting this Outstanding Specialist ASD School in appointing a Speech & Language Therapy Assistant to work alongside their multi-professional therapy team, across their two school sites in west London. You will be integral to the delivery of daily programmes and supporting the work of the Speech and Language Therapy team, in addition to promoting school improvement projects around communication and pupil voice. Main Duties Conduct one-on-one and group speech and language therapy sessions with direction, from the Speech and Language Therapists. Follow the instructions of the Speech and Language Therapist to carry out and enhance speech and language programs effectively. Customize therapy tools and materials to cater to the requirements of students. Help with setting up and maintaining Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems.
