Job Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist VIP guests with seating arrangements and provide a warm, personalised service.
  • Offer detailed menu presentations and knowledgeable recommendations regarding daily specials and promotions.
  • Accurately record and place guest orders, advising on beverage pairings.
  • Extend complimentary services, including drinks, and ensure guests are aware of additional offerings.
  • Guarantee swift order execution and timely delivery to guest tables.
  • Address and resolve inquiries and concerns about hotel and lounge services.
  • Prepare and stock condiment stations, maintaining supply levels through coordination with procurement.
  • Orchestrate with housekeeping staff to uphold a hygienic and sanitised lounge environment.
  • Arrange buffet areas, ensuring food and drink presentation is both appealing and accessible.
  • Conduct ongoing checks to secure guest satisfaction and manage further service requests.

Safety and Company Policies

  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Support the team to reach common goals.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience in a customer service role.
  • Supervisory Experience: None required.
  • License or Certification: None required.
