Job Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist VIP guests with seating arrangements and provide a warm, personalised service.
- Offer detailed menu presentations and knowledgeable recommendations regarding daily specials and promotions.
- Accurately record and place guest orders, advising on beverage pairings.
- Extend complimentary services, including drinks, and ensure guests are aware of additional offerings.
- Guarantee swift order execution and timely delivery to guest tables.
- Address and resolve inquiries and concerns about hotel and lounge services.
- Prepare and stock condiment stations, maintaining supply levels through coordination with procurement.
- Orchestrate with housekeeping staff to uphold a hygienic and sanitised lounge environment.
- Arrange buffet areas, ensuring food and drink presentation is both appealing and accessible.
- Conduct ongoing checks to secure guest satisfaction and manage further service requests.
Safety and Company Policies
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
- Support the team to reach common goals.
- Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience in a customer service role.
- Supervisory Experience: None required.
- License or Certification: None required.
