We are working with a prestigious university in Central London on the hiring of a Scholarship Manager. This is a 9 month fixed term contract to cover a secondment. The role would require 2 days on campus, Tuesday as an anchor day and one other.

This is a key leadership role involving the line management of four officers and the coordination of a wide range of student financial support activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management & Team Leadership
  • Line-manage four team members, setting priorities and planning workload.
  • Oversee training and development to maintain high service standards.
  • Ensure effective operations relating to scholarships.
  • Scholarships Administration
    • Coordinate and strategically lead the administration of scholarships across the institution.
    • Work with academic departments and central teams to ensure streamlined and consistent delivery.
    • Ensure systems and processes meet compliance, audit, and legislative standards.
    • Maintain and update the University’s scholarships database and website.
  • General Responsibilities
    • Contribute to wider Registry functions, including open days, registration, and award ceremonies.
    • Provide administrative support for appeals, disciplinary investigations, and ad-hoc university projects.
    • Support university committees and working groups when required.
    • Commit to ongoing personal and professional development.
    • Show flexibility to support other areas of Registry during peak periods or staff absence.
