MLC Partners are currently working with a London based Council to recruit a Test Analyst into a newly created central support team, to support the implementation of an Oracle Cloud system to develop its systems for managing Finance, Human Resources and Procurement – this team will be internal facing maintaining the system and dealing with any central admin activity. Duties: * Coordinate and support testing for patching cycles, configuration, and development within the Oracle Cloud System to contribute to effective and timely testing, helping meet critical deadlines required to maintain an effective Oracle Cloud system. * Work with colleagues and key stakeholders within the business to help coordinate and where necessary provide continuity to tests effectively, so that testing plans are executed in a timely fashion to meet deadlines essential for using Oracle Cloud systems * Provide periodic high-level support to the Oracle System Administration team, for continuity purposes, during peak incident or low resource availability. * Provide guidance and assistance to all testers/processes owners to develop effective and repeatable test scripts. * Support the provision of testing documentation and plans relevant to support professionally managed and effective testing. * Confirm Service Management Provider has evidenced unit testing of enhanced functionality/configuration in advance of planned User Acceptance Testing. Experience: * Experience of coordinating and supporting test phases on large Oracle implementation projects * Clear experience and understanding of industry-standard testing methodologies and when they would be applied. * Good project management skills and evidence of experience in projects. * A sound understanding of technical IT issues to enable discussions with internal and external technical specialists * Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar Agile tooling * Familiarity with ITiL methodologies for test and release and application support provision
