MLC Partners are currently working with a London based Council to recruit a Change & Release Manager into a newly created central support team, to support the implementation of an Oracle Cloud system to develop its systems for managing Finance, Human Resources and Procurement – this team will be internal facing maintaining the system and dealing with any central admin activity. Duties * Responsible for managing the lifecycle of technical changes related to Oracle systems, including upgrades, patches, and new implementations. * Ensuring that all changes to Oracle environments are planned, tested, approved, and implemented in a controlled and efficient manner with minimal impact on business operations * Own and develop Change Management and Environmental Management documentation and lead on continual service improvement of any processes and procedures relating to Change and Release management and Environmental management to ensure the councils approach is followed and reflected within the documentation and any updates clearly communicated * Serving as the key interface between technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors, driving smooth transitions and mitigating risks associated with Oracle system change. * Ensure alignment across all newly established governance forums and the ongoing management and maintenance of change processes and documentation * Accountable for the ongoing planning and management of multiple Oracle Fusion SAAS, OIC and EPM environments * Line manage and develop the Oracle Fusion Test Analyst, ensuring an appropriate level of oversight, support, and guidance Experience * High degree of technical Oracle Fusion knowledge * Extensive experience of managing Change and Release with a large enterprise environment including chairing and managing governance meetings. * A good understanding and experience in the processes involved in patching the Oracle Cloud System. * Demonstrable experience in managing/leading multiple Patch Cycles for Oracle * A good understanding of environment management and planning, within an Oracle Fusion Cloud offering * Knowledge of UK cyber essentials as a baseline with Essentials Plus, Certified Cyber Essentials Practitioner (CCEP), CISMP (Certificate in information Security Management Principles) advantageous
