MLC is partnering with a well regarded national charity to appoint an Executive Manager to support their CEO and wider leadership team. This is a high impact, central role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the heart of senior decision making, operations and stakeholder engagement.

The role

You’ll act as a true right hand to the CEO, ensuring their time, priorities and communications are managed effectively, while also bringing structure and coordination to leadership activity across the organisation. Alongside executive support, you’ll play a key role in connecting teams, improving processes and leading a small business support function to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level support to the CEO, including diary management, meeting coordination and day-to-day administration
  • Prepare and coordinate papers and briefings for key meetings
  • Attend leadership meetings, take minutes and track actions to ensure delivery
  • Draft correspondence and manage communications with senior stakeholders, including external partners and government bodies
  • Act as a central coordination point across the organisation, ensuring priorities and actions are aligned
  • Support planning and organisation of leadership activity and strategic initiatives
  • Oversee and improve internal processes and ways of working
  • Lead and support the Business Support team, driving consistency, collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Ensure effective coordination across teams, stepping in where additional support or resource is needed

About you:

You’ll be an experienced Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff-style operator, or Business Support Manager who is comfortable working at senior level. You’ll bring:

  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience supporting senior leaders in a complex organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting formal documents and briefings
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to take ownership
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels
  • Experience managing or coordinating teams, with a collaborative leadership style
  • High levels of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
