'Group Accountant - High Needs Block' - London Borough Council Β£600 inside IR35 Hybrid working Initial 6-month contract (replacing an interim) Management and oversight of the High Needs Block.
Budget Setting, Monthly Budget Projections, Budget variance report and Outturn reporting.
Ensuring the High Needs Budget is being managed in accordance with the High Needs Funding Operational Guidance (guidance updated on an annual basis) and the Schools and Early Years Funding Regulations.
Top up and funding reviews with mainstream schools, resource provisions and special schools, ensuring a fair and transparent approach.
Working With Stakeholders to deliver the High Needs DSG management plan.
Deficit Management plan Timely payments to provisions.
SEND Reform Plan detailed modelling on the impact and aligning of LAβs monitoring of High Needs spending to governance structures.
Manage 2 staff in the Team.
Meetings High Needs Funding sub-group β Support Chair in providing analysis, data and direction of the group.
Termly Schools Forum Pre-meet β discuss proposed papers (advice and support) Schools Forum β Write and deliver high needs funding papers providing update of the High Needs Budget and the work of the sub-group frequency 6 times p...
