We're working with a Local Authority in West London to recruit an experienced Interim Accountant to support their Children's Social Care finance team. They'll provide financial management support across the directorate, including:
- Budget monitoring
- Forecasting
- Financial reporting
- Business partnering with budget holders
- Grant management
- Supporting the delivery of year-end activities
- Monitoring Children's Social Care staffing budgets and establishment reporting
Requirements:
- Proven Local Authority finance experience
- Previous experience supporting Children's Social Care
- Experience managing and monitoring grant funding
- Experience supporting Children's Social Care staffing budgets, including establishment control and workforce financial reporting
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering experience
- Knowledge of Local Government finance processes and systems
