I am currently looking to recruit an Interim Executive Director of Corporate Resources and Transformation for a Local Authority in the South East. This is a pivotal role for the Local Authority while they go through a period of huge change.
Performing a key role in the organisation, the Executive Director, Corporate Services and Transformation will work closely with the Chief Executive and other Executive Directors. Together you will formulate corporate policy objectives and plans, ensuring the effective corporate management of the Council.
This role is currently part of the Corporate Leadership Team (CLT) and is accountable for the overall success of the organisation, for demonstrating visible and collegiate leadership across the council.
Significant knowledge and understanding of at least one or more of the professional services within the function (including Digital, Transformation, Legal and Procurement) is required.
For the interim role, I am looking for someone who has a proven track record of having operated in Corporate Services at Exec Director level, having had strategic oversight of all or some of the following areas, ideally Local Government, but would consider candidates from other public sector bodies. This role will not have the S151 responsibility.
