MLC is partnering with a well regarded national charity to appoint an Executive Manager to support their CEO and wider leadership team. This is a high impact, central role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the heart of senior decision making, operations and stakeholder engagement.
The role:
- Act as a true right hand to the CEO, ensuring their time, priorities and communications are managed effectively, while also bringing structure and coordination to leadership activity across the organisation.
- Provide high-level support to the CEO, including diary management, meeting coordination and day-to-day administration.
- Prepare and coordinate papers and briefings for key meetings.
- Attend leadership meetings, take minutes and track actions to ensure delivery.
- Draft correspondence and manage communications with senior stakeholders, including external partners and government bodies.
- Act as a central coordination point across the organisation, ensuring priorities and actions are aligned.
- Support planning and organisation of leadership activity and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee and improve internal processes and ways of working.
- Lead and support the Business Support team, driving consistency, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Ensure effective coordination across teams, stepping in where additional support or resource is needed.
About you:
- You’ll be an experienced Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff-style operator, or Business Support Manager who is comfortable working at senior level.
- You’ll bring strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience supporting senior leaders in a complex organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting formal documents and briefings.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to take ownership.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels.
- Experience managing or coordinating teams, with a collaborative leadership style.
- High levels of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
