MLC Partners are delighted to be supporting a respected NHS organisation in the Hertfordshire area to recruit an experienced Finance Manager – Capital for an interim assignment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled NHS finance professional to take ownership of the Trust’s capital programme, ensuring effective financial management and supporting key investment decisions during a period of change.
The Role
- Lead on the financial management and reporting of the organisation’s capital programme.
- Support capital planning, monitoring, and forecasting processes to ensure compliance with NHS England and internal governance.
- Provide insightful analysis and advice to senior management on capital expenditure and project delivery.
- Partner with operational, estates, and project teams to support delivery of major capital schemes and ensure value for money.
- Prepare and present capital finance reports to internal committees and external stakeholders.
- Support the year-end process and capital element of financial returns.
About You
- CCAB-qualified (or finalist) accountant with strong post-qualification experience in NHS finance.
- Proven experience in capital accounting, financial planning, and reporting.
- Excellent analytical, communication skills.
