MLC Partners are delighted to be supporting a leading Higher Education institution to recruit an interim Project Manager to support the implementation and launch of a new doctoral programme. This is a hands-on role requiring someone with strong Higher Education experience who can bring together academic, operational and central university teams to ensure the programme is operationally ready for recruitment and launch.
The role involves working closely with senior academic and education stakeholders, taking ownership of coordinating the programme implementation plan, monitoring key milestones and managing the operational activity required to move the programme through approval, recruitment and launch.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate the programme implementation plan, ensuring key timelines, milestones and deliverables remain on track.
- Maintain project documentation, action logs, risk registers and milestone trackers.
- Identify and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies and delays.
- Coordinate activity across academic departments, central university teams and external stakeholders.
