We are supporting an NHS Trust to appoint an experienced Cancer Improvement Lead to drive performance improvement across cancer pathways during a critical period of transformation. This role requires a hands-on, delivery-focused individual who can work closely with operational teams in a project-led capacity, using data and insight to identify challenges, implement change, and improve performance against key targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside operational and clinical teams to assess current cancer pathway performance
  • Analyse PTL, RTT and cancer data to identify risks, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
  • Lead targeted improvement initiatives to enhance patient flow, reduce backlogs and improve compliance
  • Apply structured project methodologies to deliver measurable and sustainable outcomes
  • Support the Trust’s upcoming EPR implementation, ensuring pathway improvements align with future system design
  • Provide clear reporting, governance and stakeholder engagement at senior level
