SEEKING RESIDENTIAL BUILDING SURVEYORS FOR A GROWING PROPERTY BUSINESS

Full-Time and Consultants Opportunities Available
MLA Recruitment is working with an established and growing property surveying business looking to expand its team across several locations.
This is an excellent opportunity for Residential Building Surveyors a manageable daily workload and the opportunity to work within a defined geographical area, supported by an established business.
FULL-TIME PACKAGE
- Salary circa £55,000 per annum
- Car allowance of £5,000 per annum
- Bonus payments for additional surveys completed beyond the standard daily allocation
- Pension scheme Professional fees paid
- A manageable workload of typically one survey per day
- A tightly defined geographical patch, usually covering just three postcode areas
The role is designed to allow you to concentrate on delivering high-quality surveys without excessive travel across a large geographical area. Additional surveys provide the opportunity to increase your earnings through the bonus scheme.
AREAS OF INTEREST
We are particularly interested in candidates covering the following postcode areas:
- BS – Bristol
- BA – Bath
- OX – Oxford
- SN – Swindon
- PO – Portsmouth
Other locations will also be considered, depending on the candidate's location and ability to cover the required area.
CONSULTANT OPPORTUNITIES
For surveyors interested in a consultant arrangement, the business also offers:
- A 50/50 split of survey fees,
- Sales, marketing, lead generation and bookings managed on your behalf.
- Professional indemnity cover and claims handling support under the agreed arrangement.
- Dedicated quality assurance, with reports audited by an in-house team.
- Opportunities to generate additional income through valuations, repair costings, drone inspections and thermal imaging.
- Consultants must be able to commit to a minimum of two surveys per week, with three to four surveys preferred.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A suitably qualified and experienced Residential Building Surveyor.
- The ability to undertake detailed residential property surveys.
- The ability to provide valuations and repair costings.
- A professional approach and commitment to delivering high-quality reports.
- For consultants, the necessary surveying equipment, including a Protimeter MMS3 moisture meter, along with an iPad and iPhone.
Equipment may be available subject an agreed arrangement.
