An excellent opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or early-career Party Wall Surveyors and Residential Surveyors to join a highly respected, multi-disciplinary firm of Chartered Surveyors who operate across London, the Home Counties, and Suffolk. Our client is forward-thinking, well-established and a highly respected practice of Chartered Surveyors. They are a friendly and experienced team with over 25 years of experience in all aspects of survey work, and looking after their employees and clients is key! They cover London, the Home Counties and Suffolk and have been continually ranked as a proven practice of choice for their clients.

THE ROLE:

  • Working as part of a dedicated team, you will handle a varied caseload of residential matters from initial enquiry through to award.
  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Advising on Party Wall matters
  • Preparing and serving Party Wall Notices and Awards
  • Conducting site visits and preparing detailed Schedules of Condition
  • Liaising with adjoining owners, clients, architects and contractors
  • Managing files independently while supported by senior surveyors

THE CANDIDATE:

  • The ideal candidate will be Newly AssocRics qualified or close to qualifying, or with up to 2 years PQE
  • A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident in interpreting construction drawings and building practices
  • Familiar with residential surveying and with a strong understanding of the Party Wall Act 1996
  • Professional, well-organised and committed to client service, ideally based on the NW, W or SW side of London but not essential

  • Basic Salary Β£40k - Β£45k plus bonus of Β£10k - Β£20k paid quarterly.
