My client, an exciting fintech in the merchant acquiring onboarding and merchant risk space is looking to hire a Senior Account Executive in the UK to continue its exciting growth in the UK and Western Europe. This is a fantastic role for someone who has strong experience in Business Development and working with leading PSP's acquirers and banks.
The role
- You will take ownership of revenue growth in the region, lead complex enterprise sales cycles, and engage senior commercial, risk, and technical stakeholders to drive adoption of a high-impact payments risk platform.
Key responsibilities
- Own and deliver regional revenue targets
- Lead full-cycle enterprise sales from discovery to close
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for UK & Europe
- Engage C-level and senior decision-makers at payment companies
- Act as the voice of the prospect to product and technology teams
- Contribute to shaping and improving sales processes in a scaling business
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience selling into payment companies, acquirers, or PayFacs
- Strong understanding of payments and risk
- 7+ years in enterprise sales with consistent $1m+ annual quota achievement
- Experience selling across UK and Western Europe
- Comfortable running high-discovery, consultative sales cycles
- Track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
Nice to have
- Insurance or risk-adjacent domain exposure
- Experience working closely with marketing teams
- Background in scaling or building regional sales functions
