Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the sales department through efficient administration, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring smooth operational processes. Duties
- Manage and update customer databases using CRM software to ensure accurate records.
- Prepare and process sales documentation, including quotations, orders, and invoices using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Coordinate with sales teams to schedule meetings, follow up on leads, and support client communications via Microsoft Outlook.
- Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Maintain organisational standards for record keeping, correspondence, and reporting.
Experience
- Proven experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with CRM software such as Sage or similar platforms.
- Strong computer literacy and IT skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Previous experience in customer service is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of sales processes and administrative procedures is advantageous. This role requires a dedicated individual capable of working independently whilst contributing effectively within a team environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
