We are looking for a Business Director to join the MKTG team on a 6‑month Fixed Term Contract to work on delivering and implementing some of the most exciting collaborations in Sport and Entertainment. As a Business Director, you will lead client teams, provide senior‑level engagement, recommendations and resourcing to ensure client needs are met. You will support the SVP in implementing client and business plans, and overall departmental strategies to drive success for the Sponsorship & Consulting teams. You will be a member of the Extended Management Team and hold senior‑level relationships with key decision makers within and outside the MKTG Sports & Entertainment business. The role reports to the SVP of Sponsorship + Consultancy and is based in London.

We are hiring for an experienced Business Director to lead the client consultancy for two global brands within football and Formula 1, overseeing strategic partner engagements across men & women’s properties and a long‑standing motorsport partner. You will build strong relationships with client stakeholders, develop a deep understanding of their business goals and act as a trusted advisor on partnership strategy and optimisation opportunities. You will shape innovative partnership plans that deliver against objectives, connect with audiences and solve wider marketing challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Client Servicing / Account Management
    • Owns client relationships at a senior and strategic level
    • Anticipates and proactively responds to clients’ needs
    • Drives client’s business forward through a strategic approach
    • Accountable for client fees and activation budgets
    • Manages client expectations through a consultative approach
    • Leads by example and coaches client service excellence
    • Acts as key point of escalation to solve client problems
  • Project Management
    • Oversees client teams’ operational structure and delivery
    • Owns client contracts, SOWs and master service agreements
    • Ensures retained client work is delivered to high standards
    • Manages resources, pinch points and solution needs
    • Escalates project delivery problems
  • Accountability / Administration
    • Tracks time spent on client retainers and projects
    • Collaborates to report on account time and team timesheets
    • Reports on client and project revenue through forecasting and pipeline finance
    • Owns client development plans
