An established manufacturing business is currently recruiting for a Sales/Customer Service Administrator to join their busy commercial team. This role would suit an organised administrator with strong customer service skills and the ability to support the business activity in a fast-paced environment. The position involves working a rotating shift pattern (once a month) to support customers across different time zones.
Key responsibilities:
- Handling customer enquiries by telephone and email delivering excellent customer service
- Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Preparing quotations and entering pricing information into internal systems
- Setting up new customer accounts and maintaining existing records
- Supporting the sales team with day-to-day administration
- Assisting with marketing administration, including data collection
- Managing customer queries and resolving issues in a professional manner
- Updating CRM or ERP systems with accurate information
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience in an administrative, sales support or customer service role
- Confident telephone manner and strong communication skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional Information:
- 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern, including late shifts
- Company pension scheme

- 26 days annual leave plus statutory holidays
- On-site parking
- Additional pay when required to work late shift (12-10pm)
- Mon-Fri 8-4.30, early finish on Fridays or Fridays off when on late shift
