We are working on behalf of a well‑established and respected UK‑based manufacturing company that is looking to appoint a Quality Control Inspector to join their team. Role Overview: As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet internal quality standards and comply with industry requirements. You’ll play a key role in identifying quality issues and contributing to ongoing improvements across production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect products to assess quality, appearance, and conformity with specifications
  • Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and test results
  • Support sampling and testing procedures to verify quality and safety
  • Work closely with production and technical teams to resolve quality issues
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety standards
  • Assist with training new staff in quality procedures and expectations

Candidate Requirements: We’re looking for individuals who have a strong eye for detail, a proactive approach to problem‑solving, and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role, ideally within manufacturing
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and quality control methods
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and technical specifications
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience using an ERP system to log quality data
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Able to manage workloads in a fast‑paced environment
