An established manufacturing business is currently recruiting for a Sales/Customer Service Administrator to join their busy commercial team. This role would suit an organised administrator with strong customer service skills and the ability to support the business activity in a fast-paced environment. The position involves working a rotating shift pattern (once a month) to support customers across different time zones.

Key responsibilities:

  • Handling customer enquiries by telephone and email delivering excellent customer service
  • Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently
  • Preparing quotations and entering pricing information into internal systems
  • Setting up new customer accounts and maintaining existing records
  • Supporting the sales team with day-to-day administration
  • Assisting with marketing administration, including data collection
  • Managing customer queries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Updating CRM or ERP systems with accurate information

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, sales support or customer service role
  • Confident telephone manner and strong communication skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Information:

  • 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern, including late shifts
  • Company pension scheme

  • Additional pay when required to work late shift (12-10pm)
  • Mon-Fri 8-4.30, early finish on Fridays or Fridays off when on late shift
