We are recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing business for a Finance Assistant to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous finance or accounts experience who is looking to develop their career within a busy and supportive environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing invoices and payments
- Supporting purchase and sales ledger activities
- Bank reconciliations and general ledger support
- Assisting with month end processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Dealing with finance queries from customers and suppliers
- Providing general administrative support to the finance team
About you:
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
- Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and finance systems
- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- AAT or relevant finance qualification would be advantageous but is not essential
