A well-established UK manufacturing business is seeking an imaginative and motivated individual to join their team in a varied digital content, website administration and graphic design role. This position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis and is office-based.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently while also collaborating with colleagues across multiple departments, contributing both creatively and technically across digital channels.

Our client is a long-standing and well-respected organisation within the manufacturing and industrial sector. The business supplies specialist products to regulated industries where quality, durability and compliance are essential, and has built a strong reputation through decades of industry experience.

Job Summary

The role focuses on maintaining and developing the company’s online presence through engaging, accurate and well-optimised digital content, while also delivering high-quality graphic design to support marketing and promotional activity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Updating and maintaining website product content, ensuring optimisation for SEO and AI-driven search
  • Managing product imagery, including renders and 360 degree product views
  • Designing website graphics and visual content using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Producing monthly blog content
  • Creating and scheduling weekly LinkedIn posts and supporting follower growth
  • Establishing and developing an Instagram presence
  • Liaising with an external SEO agency
  • Monitoring website performance and analytics
  • Setting up, managing and reporting on website promotions
  • Managing day-to-day administration of third-party marketplaces and platforms
  • Maintaining website cross-selling and up-selling functionality
  • Monitoring competitor websites and providing feedback and design-led recommendations
  • Liaising with external website developers, designers and service providers

Project Work

  • Project-based work within the role includes a strong graphic design focus:
  • Designing marketing materials using InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Creating and editing product videos for platforms such as YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Arranging and supporting product photography shoots
  • Producing artwork for trade shows, printed advertising, online adverts and banners

Additional Duties

  • Supporting other departments as required
  • Analysing data and preparing performance reports
  • Assisting sales and production planning teams when needed

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, with practical graphic design experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using Apple Final Cut Pro X
  • Photography and videography skills
  • Experience with 3D rendering software
  • Knowledge of Adobe Commerce or Magento

Additional Info:

Approximately 75% website administration and digital content creation and 25% graphic design, largely supporting website, social media and blog content.

  • Salary £27,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Working hours Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am to 2.00pm
  • 26 Days holiday plus bank holidays
