A day at MKS: As a Warehouse Operative at our company MKS based in Crewe, you will be a key member of the warehouse team to work with different production and logistic teams. You will work under the management of the production manager.

You will make an impact by:

  • Performing administrative duties in support of activities related to the shipping of finished goods
  • Communicating and coordinating with transportation companies
  • Handling routine questions and problems and maintaining open communication with other departments throughout the shipping/delivery cycle
  • Confirming the accuracy of invoices, bills and charges relative to the shipment of goods
  • Logging order information into the computer and filing and distributing paperwork as necessary
  • Maintaining records and generating reports for accounting and other areas
  • Ensuring shipments are made accurately and efficiently to meet harsh on time delivery demands and high customer expectations
  • Accurately kitting products for the production team, with 0 errors

The skills you will bring:

  • At least two years of experience in warehousing and/or logistics
  • A valid FLT (Forklift Truck) license is an advantage
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and strong computer skills are an advantage

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

  • Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time
  • Must be able to lift up to 15/20KG
  • Must be able to operate a pump truck safely and efficiently
  • Frequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder level
  • Regularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at and above shoulder level
