We have an opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join a professional team within a beautiful private estate in Scotland. This is a fantastic role for a Housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and presentation in a busy household environment. The successful candidate will work as part of an established Estate team, ensuring all areas of the estate are beautifully maintained while supporting the wider team when required. This role offers a collaborative and professional working environment and would suit someone with a proactive, flexible, and positive approach.
Duties:
- Cleaning, laundry, and ironing
- Servicing rooms to a high standard
- Silver polishing and brass cleaning
- Vacuuming and general housekeeping duties
- Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property
- Ensuring all rooms are prepared and maintained to a high standard
- Reporting any maintenance issues or defects to the Estate Manager
- Working collaboratively with the team across all areas of the property, including guest accommodation and supporting additional ad hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping experience, preferably within a private household or similar environment. The client would also consider candidates with a hotel background. They will be highly organised, discreet, and professional, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A flexible and adaptable approach is essential.
