Key Responsibilities- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Supporting audit assignments, including fieldwork and documentation
- Preparing basic tax computations and assisting with personal and corporate tax returns
- Carrying out bookkeeping tasks and preparing VAT returns
- Drafting working papers and maintaining accurate client records
- Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
- Using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage
- Supporting senior staff on a range of assignments and ad hoc projects
- Degree (2:1 or above) in any discipline (accounting/finance desirable but not essential)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
