Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide quotations for customers.
- Purchase materials and manage stock levels for the category.
- Deal with customers both face‑to‑face and over the telephone.
- Give excellent customer service and sound product advice.
- Take a proactive approach to plumbing and heating sales, using every opportunity to make or increase a sale.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Sound plumbing and heating product knowledge.
- Previous sales experience in a plumbing and heating merchant or builder’s merchant environment.
- Confident dealing with customers.
- Ability to build great customer relationships.
- A good telephone manner, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate.
