Resource Assistant – MKM

Duties & Responsibilities
- Post and remove jobs using the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Liaise with applicants and branch directors via phone and email.
- Support branches to maximise role exposure, help draft adverts for social media and screen applicants.
- Proactively contact applicants for roles via LinkedIn.
- Train branches on using the ATS and answer any queries.
- Revamp job descriptions/advertisements.
- Provide interview support to branches as required.
- Add and remove users in the ATS.
- Continuously seek new places to attract applicants at all levels and locations across the business.
- Role could be a structured apprenticeship requiring academic study.
KPI’s
- All job adverts must be live the same day they are approved.
- Rejection emails should be sent to all applicants within 24 hours of being notified.
- Ensure applicants receive the best experience when applying to work at MKM.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills over the phone and face‑to‑face to build lasting relationships within the business.
- Attention to detail and a creative approach to writing short adverts for social media.
- Basic computer literacy, including Excel.
- Ability and confidence to deal with people at all levels professionally.
- Ability to work at pace with accuracy in a busy department.

Hybrid Working Option
This role will have the option to be hybrid after successful completion of the probationary period – 3 days a week working from our offices in Hull.
