MKM Nottingham has a fast paced, rapidly growing showroom. Due to phenomenal growth, we are looking to recruit a Kitchen and Bathroom designer with a flexible approach to hours that can support our established team continue to grow.
Kitchen and Bathroom Sales Designer
This is an area with great potential for development and growth. We are looking for an experienced person to drive this area of the business forward. This is an exciting opportunity to build a career with the leading independent builders’ merchant in the UK. Working in our Nottingham showroom, you will bring a passion for design and customer service.
Ideally, we require someone with a flexible approach to working hours. We plan to extend the opening hours of our showroom due to demand and are looking for people able to work up to 7pm. Alternate Saturdays will be 8am to 5pm with a day off during the week and possible overtime available. We are open and happy to discuss the preferred working pattern for the right candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Guide customers through the full kitchen & bathroom design and sales process.
- Listen to customer needs and ensure their requirements are met.
- Identify and recommend products best suited to customer needs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Pro-actively generate new business.
- This role will include working Saturdays.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience working in a similar role is strongly preferred.
- Sound knowledge of kitchen and bathroom products would be advantageous.
- Experience using ArtiCAD or Fusion planning software is essential.
- Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
- Confident dealing with customers.
- The ability to build great customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible approach to working patterns.
