Our successful Kidlington branch is looking to recruit for the following role: Internal Salesperson. In this position, you will play a key role in the sale of our full range of building supplies products; therefore, previous sales experience in a similar role within a builder’s merchant environment is essential.
Working with the sales team, the main purpose of your role will be to maximise sales by building first-class relationships with customers both over the telephone and face to face, whilst maintaining excellent customer service. You will also be required to provide quotations to customers, follow them up and to pro-actively develop sales.
You will be working within a close-knit team and will be dealing with our customers on a daily basis. You will therefore need to have the likeability factor and be the person that our customers will look forward to seeing, knowing that they will always receive excellent customer service and sound advice on their building materials queries. You should be confident with a positive attitude.
The role will require someone who has an eye for detail as there will be some supportive admin duties and we need someone who can build and develop customer relationships. Builder’s merchant product knowledge would be essential. You will need to have a genuine commitment to providing excellent customer service and being computer literate is also vital.
