Our Aberdeen branch is currently looking for a Trade Counter Salesperson to join their team. Working within the sales team, the main purpose of your role will be to maximise sales by building first class relationships with customers both over the telephone and face to face, whilst maintaining excellent customer service. You will also be required to provide quotations to customers, follow them up and to pro-actively develop sales.
A good knowledge of a variety of building products and experience of working in a similar position within a builder’s merchants is essential for this role. Please note that this role will involve working alternate Saturdays. You will be working within a close-knit team and will be dealing with our customers daily. You will therefore need to be the person that our customers will look forward to seeing knowing that they will always receive excellent customer service and sound advice. You should also be enthusiastic, hardworking and have a positive attitude. Strong customer service experience is essential.
