MKJ Ignite are excited to be partnering with one of the UK’s fastest-growing food subscription brands to hire a dynamic Production Manager to lead their central kitchen and packing operations. Following 300% YoY growth and a major investment into a new production site (launching Jan 2026), this is a golden opportunity to join a mission-driven business at a pivotal moment in its journey.
As Production Manager, you’ll be at the heart of operations, leading a talented team and driving excellence across food production, packing, and dispatch. You’ll play a key role in scaling operations, improving systems, and delivering high-quality products that help people eat more whole foods and transform their health.
What will you be doing?
- Leading a team of supervisors and 40+ indirect reports across production, packing, and warehouse
- Coaching and developing team leads to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations and ensuring food quality and safety standards are met
- Driving efficiency across workflows, layouts, and processes
- Managing stock control, scheduling, and supplier relationships
- Ensuring full compliance with HACCP, food hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Collaborating on strategic projects including NPD, sustainability, automation, and site expansion
