We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded e-commerce lead (trading & crm) to scale our direct-to-consumer online business. You will take full accountability for our website(s) and app performance, email strategy, and lifecycle flows, ensuring our products and promotions are showcased effectively while driving traffic, improving conversion, and optimising repeat custom.
You will work closely with the wider business to support the execution of the trading calendar, product launches, promotional campaigns, customer lifecycle journeys, and bau, whilst continuously optimising the customer experience. This role will suit someone with a strong commercial and analytical mindset and a keen interest and background in fashion e-commerce.
Key responsibilities:- Own the website and app experience, including ux, cro, content, promotions, and merchandising.
- Work alongside and in collaboration with the brand team to execute the digital trading calendar, product launches, and promotions.
- Track, analyse, and optimise conversion and revenue performance across all owned channels.
- Manage all seo content, optimising landing pages and journals to drive organic traffic.
- Manage email campaigns and lifecycle flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, checkout recovery, post-purchase journeys).
- Ensure email strategy aligns with product launches, the trading calendar, and brand voice.
- Collaborate with the performance marketing lead to ensure campaigns and promotions are seamlessly integrated across both departments’ objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and testing to enhance customer engagement, working alongside our web development agency.
- 5+ years of experience within e-commerce, ideally within retail.
- Proven experience managing e-commerce and app platforms.
- Strong understanding of international markets.
- Experience managing agencies.
- Strong understanding and practical knowledge of digital merchandising, trading calendars, and lifecycle marketing.
- Data-driven with experience in conversion rate optimisation and analytics.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Creative thinker with a strong sense of brand presentation and storytelling.
- Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo is essential.
The role is based full-time at our HQ in Bingley, West Yorkshire, Monday–Friday. (this role is not suited to freelance, hybrid or remote workers.) Salary will be negotiated based on experience.
