Inline with the next exciting stage of growth, MKI MIYUKI ZOKU are looking for a Head of Operations who will lead the full operational infrastructure at MKI, reporting into the CEO. This is a leadership role responsible for leading the brand’s operational engine (warehouse, fulfilment, logistics, supply chain, systems, and customer experience), ensuring it operates seamlessly, efficiently, and at a level that supports sustained domestic and international growth.
Working closely with the CEO, this role will design, lead, and continuously improve the systems, processes, and partnerships that underpin MKI’s commercial performance and customer experience. The Head of Operations will own the end-to-end warehouse and fulfilment operations including:
- Overseeing the warehouse team’s performance, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analysing stock movement and sell-through to anticipate gaps or overstock, ensuring optimal inventory levels and business continuity.
- Using data-led forecasting to inform buy quantities, launch volumes, and long-term growth planning.
- Management of shipping from all countries of origin, including negotiating freight rates and ensuring cost efficiency and reliability.
- Building and maintaining strong and productive relationships with freight forwarders, couriers, and logistics partners.
- Aligning logistics planning with production timelines, wholesale partner delivery schedules, and international expansion requirements.
- Implementation and management of customer service platforms and tools to improve response times, insight, and service quality.
- Driving operational improvements and enhancing brand perception.
- Working closely with e-commerce and marketing teams to ensure operational excellence supports commercial and brand objectives.
- Ownership of all operational systems, including inventory management, warehouse systems, and reporting tools to identify and implement physical and digital improvements to increase accuracy, visibility, and control.
- Ensuring the operational infrastructure remains scalable, robust, and fit for purpose as the brand scales.
- Working in collaboration with the wider teams to provide operational insights to inform strategic and commercial decisions.
