About the Role

In line with our next phase of growth, we’re on the lookout for an established PR & Partnerships Lead to join our marketing team in 2026.

You’ll lead press strategy, media relationships, stylist relations, product placement, influencer outreach, and cultural partnerships — shaping how MKI is seen and spoken about across editorial, social, and creative platforms.

Working closely with the brand marketing, creative, and e-commerce teams, you’ll deliver key moments of visibility and connection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute MKI’s press strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with editors, stylists, and key media contacts
  • Secure high-quality coverage across print, digital, and cultural publications
  • Lead seasonal press outreach, mailers, and media communications

Product Placement

  • Manage sample requests and logistics for press, stylists, and talent
  • Secure product placements for editorials, appearances, and cultural moments

Partnerships & Collaborations

  • Identify and manage cultural partnerships that elevate brand visibility
  • Lead outreach and activations with aligned platforms, events, and communities (not brand-to-brand collaborations)
  • Work cross-functionally with the marketing team to ensure all activity reflects MKI’s direction and priorities
  • Oversee the delivery of any live activations tied to partnerships

Influencer & Tastemaker Relations

  • Build and nurture relationships with key figures across menswear, culture, and lifestyle
  • Oversee influencer seeding programs — from strategy and gifting to reporting — in collaboration with paid media and social teams
  • Identify upcoming talent and tastemakers who align with MKI’s values and aesthetic

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in PR and partnerships within fashion — ideally menswear
  • Proven track record of securing meaningful coverage and building lasting relationships
  • Established network of editors, stylists, influencers, and media contacts
  • Strong understanding of the connection between culture, community, and brand storytelling
  • Confident communicator — able to pitch, present, and negotiate with ease
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, creative environment
  • Collaborative by nature, but able to lead projects independently

Key Information

  • Full‑time, based at our headquarters in Bingley, West Yorkshire (Monday – Friday)
  • Not suited to freelance or remote workers
  • New role within the team, starting January 2026
  • Reports directly to the Head of Marketing
  • No direct reports at present
  • Salary negotiable based on experience
