Inline with the next exciting stage of growth, MKI MIYUKI ZOKU are looking for a Head of Operations who will lead the full operational infrastructure at MKI, reporting into the CEO. This is a leadership role responsible for leading the brand’s operational engine (warehouse, fulfilment, logistics, supply chain, systems, and customer experience), ensuring it operates seamlessly, efficiently, and at a level that supports sustained domestic and international growth.
Working closely with the CEO, this role will design, lead, and continuously improve the systems, processes, and partnerships that underpin MKI’s commercial performance and customer experience.
WAREHOUSE & FULFILMENTThe Head of Operations will own the end-to-end warehouse and fulfilment operations including:
- Leading and directing MKI’s on-site warehouse and fulfilment function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and best-in-class operational standards.
- Growing the current scalable fulfilment model to support continued growth across DTC and B2B.
- Overseeing the warehouse team’s performance, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working in collaboration with the sales team on inventory planning across DTC channels, including:
- Analysing stock movement and sell-through to anticipate gaps or overstock, ensuring optimal inventory levels and business continuity.
- Partnering closely with sales, ecommerce, and marketing teams to align forecasts with campaigns, launches, and wholesale commitments.
- Using data-led forecasting to inform buy quantities, launch volumes, and long-term growth planning.
Once product is approved for production, this role will lead on the ownership of the supply chain, areas of responsibility include:
- Management of shipping from all countries of origin, including negotiating freight rates and ensuring cost efficiency and reliability.
- Building and maintaining strong and productive relationships with freight forwarders, couriers, and logistics partners.
- Aligning logistics planning with production timelines, wholesale partner delivery schedules, and international expansion requirements.
To ensure a seamless operational infrastructure, this role will manage the customer experience department including:
- Management of the customer experience team.
- Delivery and maintenance of standards across fulfilment, returns, and customer support.
- Implementation and management of customer service platforms and tools to improve response times, insight, and service quality.
- Driving operational improvements and enhancing brand perception.
- Working closely with e-commerce and marketing teams to ensure operational excellence supports commercial and brand objectives.
Ownership of all operational systems, including inventory management, warehouse systems and reporting tools to:
- Identify and implement physical and digital improvements to increase accuracy, visibility, and control.
- Ensure the operational infrastructure remains scalable, robust, and fit for purpose as the brand scales.
Working alongside the CEO to support MKI’s expansion and operational management into new marketplaces including:
- Ensuring operational readiness for new territories, partners, and fulfilment models.
- Working in collaboration with the wider teams to provide operational insights to inform strategic and commercial decisions.
- Identifying systems, processes, and partnerships required to support global scale.
At least 7 years’ experience in warehousing, logistics, and operations. Currently holds a senior operational role. Experience in fashion is highly desirable, but not essential. Strategic operational leader with a hands-on approach, looking for a role to shape and optimise end-to-end business operations. Calm, decisive, and solutions-focused under pressure. Commercially astute, with deep expertise in forecasting, inventory management, and operational efficiency. Structured, detail-oriented, and systems-driven. Confident communicator and collaborative leader, with a track record of developing teams and growing operational capabilities.
