The Role
£27,872 per annum

3.5T Delivery Driver Days
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and customer-focused 3.5T Delivery Driver to join our growing transport team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver or someone looking to develop their career in the transport industry. You will be responsible for delivering foodservice products safely, efficiently and professionally to our customers.
As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to progress your driving career and gain your Class C (LGV) licence, fully funded by MKG Foods.
Your role will include:
- Completing multi-drop deliveries to customers in a safe, professional and timely manner.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects or issues.
- Checking delivery paperwork and ensuring the correct products are delivered to each customer.
- Providing excellent customer service and representing MKG Foods professionally at all times.
- Safely unloading and handling food products at customer premises.
- Following all company procedures relating to driving, vehicle safety, food safety and manual handling.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-presented vehicle.
- Planning and managing your delivery route effectively.
- Reporting any delivery issues or customer queries to the appropriate team.
