The Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide a full engineering service to customers across the Water Industry. This is an exciting and diverse role, offering opportunities to build a long-term career in a growing engineering environment. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will carry out a broad range of planned and reactive Engineering work which may incorporate:
- Installation and removal of mechanical equipment across the water industry.
- Disconnection and installation of motors.
- Testing of electrical motors and cables.
- Fault diagnosis and the removal and replacement of mechanical equipment including pumps, gearboxes, screens, filters, valves, bearings, alignments and fans.
- Pipe fitting, Plumbing and metal work where required.
- Slinging and lifting.
- Confined Space and Working from Height.
