The predicted salary is between 13 - 22 £ per hour.
HGV 1 / C+E / Low Loader driver for an ongoing and long-term project based out of Ramsey in Cambridgeshire. You will be an experienced low loader driver, able to operate a winch to help drag/recover large vehicles onto a low loader to bring back to depot. The client recovers buses/coaches, agricultural and plant machinery that is brought back to the depot to be dismantled or repurposed.
This job involves physically pulling chains, strapping, and securing loads, which can be vehicles that have been damaged or left to rot and ruin and need dismantling and scraping. You will be collecting from all parts of the country, with the average working week seeing you completing 50-60 hours Monday to Friday. You may find yourself travelling in a convoy of 3 vehicles for mass collection or even travelling solo to various areas of the country.
Requirements:
- Previous low loader experience
- Full UK HGV Licence
- Max 6 points
- Drivers CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
PAYE / LTD drivers are welcome to apply. Monday to Friday is £18.50 per hour. Saturdays £22.50 per hour.
