Overview
HGV 1 / Class 1 Driver with a good level of Mechanical HGV Appitude. The client is based out of Mildenhall, and looking for a Class 1 driver that has the ability to turn there hand to mechanical/maintenance tasks.
You will be using a low loader to deliver large industrial equipment across the county to distillers, Prisons, Schools, Hospitals etc.
This role is more than being a driver, and would ideally suit a person that has a mechanical apptitude, can problem solve, and above all adhere to health and safety procedures.
This is a temp to perm role, after a 12 week qualifying period, you will be joining a fantastic employer that values its staff. You must be able to do some nights out when required, and plan routes taking into account low bridges etc.
Salary is £22.00 Phr with overtime, night out allowances as well as pension, and other benefits offered once permanent.
Requirements
- Full UK Licence with 12 months minimum driving experience
- A Mechanical ability
- Drivers Digital Tacho Graph Card
- Drivers CPC
- Ability to conduct daily vehicle safety checks
- A keen eye for Health & Safety and able to follow instructions to the letter
