By joining MKC Training as an Electrical Engineering Theory Trainer, you'll be a vital part of the Trade Instructors team, sharing your Electrical expertise with a new generation. Enjoy a competitive salary of £46K - £49K plus excellent benefits, including a 37-hour working week, generous holidays (6 weeks + bank holidays), pension scheme, private healthcare, on-site gym, mental health wellbeing, sick pay, cycle to work scheme, and ongoing professional development.

Electrical Trainer Experience

  • HNC or above in Electrical Engineering with strong theoretical knowledge
  • Capable of teaching electrical theory, maths and science to levels 3 and 4
  • Previous teaching experience or having trained others in the workplace (+ willingness to achieve funded teaching qualifications)

Additional Desirable Experience

  • Understanding of domestic and commercial electrical installations - single and 3-phase, 1st fix, conduit, tray work, single core, multi-core, inspection, testing and commissioning
  • Power production and distribution
  • C&G 236 Part 1 & 2 / 2330 / 2365 / 2357 / 2391 / 2396
  • A1 Assessor
  • V1 Quality Assurance
