MK Search are currently working with a leading M&E contractor with a turnover of £400m and a strong presence across sectors who are looking for a senior electrical project manager to join their team on a brand new data centre project they have secured in Hemel Hempstead. They will act as Principal Contractor on the scheme with full ownership of the £97m package.
As the Electrical Lead, you will report directly to the site-based Project Director and oversee all electrical delivery activities. You’ll manage a team of Electrical Engineers and Electrical Construction Managers, ensuring all works are executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical package across the project lifecycle, from design coordination through to commissioning and handover.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and construction managers.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement, and installation quality.
- Collaborate closely with the mechanical and project leadership teams to ensure seamless MEP integration.
- Drive programme delivery, commercial performance, and client satisfaction.
