An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a dynamic and ambitious Tier 2 M&E contractor delivering projects across the commercial, rail and industrial sectors throughout London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business during an exciting period of growth. With a strong pipeline of secured work and plans to achieve £20m turnover next year, the company is quickly establishing itself as one of London's most promising M&E contractors.
Initially, you will be responsible for managing a number of smaller mechanical projects across London, giving you the opportunity to build strong relationships within the business before progressing onto larger, more complex schemes where you will have the opportunity to lead the mechanical delivery function.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor programme, quality, cost and health & safety performance.
- Attend client and progress meetings while maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships.
- Manage procurement of mechanical packages and oversee subcontractor performance.
- Work closely with commercial and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Produce regular project reports and manage project documentation.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the M&E or Building Services sector.
- Experience delivering commercial, industrial or rail projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installations.
- Excellent client-facing, communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- SMSTS and relevant industry qualifications are desirable.
