MK Search have partnered with a leading M&E contractor with a strong presence delivering notable projects across sectors in partnership with leading main contractors who are looking for a mechanical project engineer to join their team on a notable commercial scheme they are delivering in Reading. Reporting to a mechanical lead, you will join the project with 6 months left to run to take ownership of the technical elements of the mechanical package across the scheme through to PC. They have another very sizeable project in the Berkshire region you will move onto a take control of from pre-construction phase once the initial scheme is complete.
Duties:
- Managing mechanical packages from pre-con through to commissioning and handover.
- Technical submittal reviews and managing RFI processes.
- Overseeing sub-contractors and ensuring high standards of health, safety, and quality.
- Procurement of plant and specialist mechanical equipment.
- Working closely with the Commercial and Design teams to keep the project on track and under budget.
They are open to people on a contract or permanent basis, with sign off to pay a very attractive salary or day rate (CIS or Ltd).
