An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced M&E Project Manager (Mechanical Bias) to join one of the UK's leading M&E contractors on a landmark hospital development in Central London. With an M&E value of approximately £14 million, this high-profile healthcare scheme is in its early stages, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to take ownership of the project through construction, commissioning and handover.

Our client has an outstanding reputation for delivering complex projects across the Healthcare, Data Centre, Commercial and Life Sciences sectors, and continues to experience significant growth through repeat business and major project wins nationwide.

The Role: Reporting to the Project Director, you will lead the successful delivery of the M&E package, with a particular focus on the mechanical services installation, programme management and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of the M&E package from construction through to completion.
  • Lead and coordinate mechanical and electrical subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
  • Monitor project programme, costs, quality and safety performance.
  • Work closely with the client, consultants and wider project team to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Drive technical coordination, commissioning and handover activities.
  • Ensure project milestones and commercial objectives are achieved.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager, Mechanical Project Manager or Senior Mechanical Project Engineer.
  • Strong mechanical building services background.
  • Experience delivering large-scale healthcare, commercial, life sciences or mission-critical projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of programme management, commissioning and project delivery processes.
