The Role: As MEP QA Manager, you will take ownership of quality assurance processes across complex building services installations, ensuring the highest standards are maintained throughout project delivery and commissioning phases. Initially based on a prestigious commercial office scheme in Central London, you will play a key role in driving quality standards during the critical final delivery stages before moving onto future flagship developments. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, commissioning managers and senior leadership to ensure all QA procedures, inspections and documentation are completed in line with company standards, client expectations and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all MEP quality assurance activities on site
- Develop, implement and maintain QA/QC procedures and processes
- Coordinate inspections, testing and commissioning documentation
- Carry out audits and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Review ITPs, check sheets and quality records
- Work closely with project management and commissioning teams to drive quality performance
- Monitor subcontractor quality and ensure corrective actions are implemented where required
- Support project close‑out and handover processes
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality delivery
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an MEP QA/QC Manager position within the building services sector
- Background working for a recognised M&E contractor on large‑scale projects
- Experience delivering commercial, pharmaceutical, mission critical or data centre projects would be highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of QA procedures, commissioning processes and handover requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work within fast‑paced, technically challenging environments
