A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a leading Tier 1 M&E contractor on one of Leeds' most significant residential developments. Based in the heart of Leeds city centre, this major project will deliver over 600 high-quality apartments and forms part of a substantial regional investment programme. With a strong order book and multiple upcoming schemes across Yorkshire and the North, this role offers long-term career stability and genuine progression opportunities.
As Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical installation activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervising and coordinating electrical subcontractors on site
- Monitoring installation works to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings and industry standards
- Managing quality assurance (QA) inspections and ensuring works meet required benchmarks
- Carrying out regular site inspections and identifying any quality or compliance issues
- Promoting and enforcing health & safety procedures across all electrical activities
- Supporting project delivery in line with programme milestones and deadlines
- Assisting with testing, commissioning and final handover processes
- Attending site coordination meetings and providing progress updates to the project team
- Resolving technical and site-related issues to maintain productivity and programme performance
- Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor within the building services or M&E sector
- Proven track record working on large-scale residential, commercial or mixed-use developments
- Strong understanding of electrical building services installations
- Excellent knowledge of QA procedures, inspections and compliance standards
- Sound understanding of current health & safety legislation and site practices
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work packages
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification preferred
- Relevant electrical qualifications and industry certifications
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
