We are working with a leading £400m turnover M&E contractor with a strong international presence across sectors, who are looking for an MEP Project Director to lead a brand new £65m M&E data centre project they have secured in partnership with a leading GC in High Wycombe.
Reporting to an operations director, you will get involved in early stage pre-construction and take control of a sizeable team from a leadership and technical perspective to lead through to scheme to PC. As Project Director, you'll provide strategic leadership and operational direction across the entire project lifecycle. You'll coordinate design, construction, and commissioning teams, drive performance against key milestones, and maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders. Your role is to ensure that every stage of delivery meets the highest standards expected of a mission-critical facility.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and motivating multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver on time and within budget.
- Managing client relationships and ensuring full alignment with project objectives.
- Overseeing design coordination, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Maintaining rigorous control of programme, cost, safety, and quality.
- Driving collaboration across supply chain and internal teams.
- Identifying risks early and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Reporting performance to senior leadership and clients with clarity and accuracy.
